Help Us Help Others
Donate to the Operating Budget
Monetary donations to the Hospice and Volunteers Program in any amount supports the organization’s efforts to provide free, supportive, unique, direct care assistance to individuals and families coping with end-of-life issues. The Hopsice Volunteers Services are a part of CHANS Home Health Care; an agency which provides medical services available through the hospice Medicare benefit. Hospice Volunteer Services offer companionship, respite and bereavement support groups to families and crisis intervention to the community. Because it is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization, donations to the Hospice and Volunteer Program are fully deductible under the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. In order to continue offering free bereavement groups and direct care services we very much depend on charitable contributions from individuals, towns and institutions. Here are some easy ways to give to the Hospice operating budget.
· Memorials to deceased individuals who received our services or who wish to support Hospice generally
· Annual Appeal
· Estate and Planned Giving
· Gifts of stocks, annuities etc.
· Donations for an unspecified purpose (for our operating budget)
· Donations for a specific purpose (ie. to support Bereavement Program Services)
To make a donation, a check payable to CHANS Home Health Care
may be sent to: 60 Baribeau Drive, Brunswick, Maine 04011. If this is a memorial, please note the specific person’s name in the memo line of the check. If you would prefer to make a cash donation, please deliver to the above address.
